The front‑desk staff were incredibly helpful. Even though we knew we couldn’t check in early, they kindly held all our luggage so we didn’t have to worry when we returned that evening.

“It was a nice quick stay and our room was clean and food was good.”

The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially when my husband had to get cold medicine for me. Breakfast was a mess: all the hot dishes, muffins, and even eggs, bacon, and potatoes were gone; we and others had to wait. More staff are needed to restock food regularly, especially on weekends.

“Disappointing experience due to poor staffing and lack of organization.”

The hotel sits in a great spot and the rooms were tidy with comfy beds, and housekeeping did a solid job. Management, however, keeps the place severely understaffed and disorganized, so I’d be hesitant to return until they fix the front‑desk chaos. I asked for early check‑in at 2:00 PM and called twice to confirm; two staff members said it’d be fine. Yet when I got there, no rooms were ready or clean, and I had to wait until 3:25 PM—well past the normal 3:00 PM check‑in—before my room was finally set up. The lobby was crowded with other annoyed guests who were experiencing the same delay.

“We won’t stay at this Hampton in the future.”

Location, breakfast. Our room. Original room keys would not work after 3 different key attempts. We were put in an overflow room on first floor that look like the room was a staging room for all the extra furniture. Bathroom was not clean, sand in the tub and the sinks and tub backed up. The air conditioning in the lobby and breakfast area was not working a was very warm; it was cooler outside. We’ve never had a poor experience with a Hampton but this has made us reconsider our choice for next time. I will say the staff that assisted us was exemplary in how he handled the situation
