I loved how close the hotel was to the train station and was pleasantly surprised that I slept so well despite the train noise; food options were everywhere, even a BBQ on the table. The air‑conditioning was broken—no matter what temperature I set it, it stayed freezing, which actually helped me sleep thanks to the warm duvets. The buffet breakfast was awful and not worth recommending; I’d just step outside and find plenty of alternatives. The patio door was broken, opening sometimes and sometimes not. Four people crammed into a tight space was a bit claustrophobic.

“great location, good breakfast”

The place sits in a great spot near the central train station, giving quick access to Akihabara, Shibuya, and other key spots; the neighborhood even feels like a sumo shrine, with Japan's top sumo hall nearby and plenty of memorabilia, plus a breakfast selection that helps you bulk up. The breakfast itself was decent, offering enough Japanese choices, but the international/European options were sparse, and when they ran out they never got refilled.
