The Retreat at Froog Moore Park, a 5-star luxury boutique hotel, offers peaceful in-town garden accommodations 2 minutes from Tamworth's CBD and 1 km from both hospitals. Individually decorated rooms, an elegant guest lounge, and complimentary high-speed NBN Wi-Fi are featured. Air-conditioned rooms include seating areas, flat-screen TVs, and work desks. Fresh local ingredients are used for breakfast and dinner, available on request.

Peter and Sandy were very pleasant and helpful, and the room was well equipped, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was overpriced and tasted a bit bland.

Wow! “The Retreat” was an unforgettable surprise, with Peter’s warm, friendly, and informative welcome and Sandy’s phenomenal food making everything flawless. If you’re after grey/black/beige/brown, forget this place; but if you want love, passion, attention to detail, bright and vibrant surroundings, peace, relaxation, and a calm environment, this is the spot. The foyer, rooms, lounge/dining area, and incredible gardens (full of plantings used in the kitchen) all felt thoughtfully designed, and the decor may not suit everyone, but that’s fine. Peter & Sandy are hospitality experts, and the care and love poured into the place is obvious. The beds are super comfortable, the bathroom is a great size, everything you could need is provided, and it’s super clean – our #1 criteria. We’ve travelled extensively across EU & Australia, and “The Retreat” is absolutely fantastic!

The place was perfectly peaceful and quiet, with themed rooms and a stunning upstairs dining room overlooking the very large garden. The hosts were perfect, the food was actually beyond amazing, the property was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable, and security was solid – an unbelievable pleasure to stay, and it has become our go‑to spot whenever we travel.
