The calm, warm welcome, tidy room, and beautiful location were all very pleasing.

Paloma at reception gave us a superior room, which we loved. The breakfast format was a downside.

The hotel is beautiful, with a lovely garden and large terrace. Paid parking is available next to the hotel. Breakfast was simply fantastic. El Puerto de Santa Maria offers many great restaurants and tapas bars. Nearby you’ll find nice beaches, a nature reserve for walking and cycling, and Cadiz is easily reachable by ferry or train. We stayed during an extended weekend (national holiday on Monday), so many places were closed, including the hotel bar—odd, since other spots were bustling with tourists. We also didn’t know the restaurant only opens Friday and Saturday evenings. Overall, we felt the hotel’s staffing was too limited, so not all facilities were available.
