Qinhuangdao Marriott Resort

The closed seaside area is huge, with its own shops, cafés, and the option to rent transport inside. The room is wonderful, modern, stylish, and offers a sea view. The hotel has its own separate beach access, but the loungers on the beach belong to someone else and are all paid, so the benefit of separate access disappears. We were there in mid‑September, the outside temperature was +25, the water +24, and for some reason swimming was prohibited, so we had to go to another beach.

Breakfast was pretty good. Lunch and dinner offered solid European options. The open pool on the top floor is amazing, with a stunning sea view. The downside is the toilets on the first floor and in the pool locker rooms are cleaned too late, there's sand in the pool, and the kids' pool and play area aren't cleaned; for a hotel of this level that's unacceptable.
