The two gentlemen at reception were super friendly and helpful, and check‑in was quick and easy. However, the price turned out not to be a real bargain, which was very disappointing. The room, especially the bathroom, was not very clean—particularly the toilet—and the furnishings were noticeably worn.

The construction scaffolding right outside our room door made the patio noisy at 8 am, and the hostel never warned us about it before we tried to rest.

I didn’t like it at all; it was the worst room on a penthouse that didn’t have proper ventilation. The photo made it look more presentable, but the TV was perched on a table without a base, lying flat, and behind it was a mirror that the TV covered. There was no ventilation—just a supposedly penthouse window covered with some cardboard or whatever, which opened and closed poorly to let in light. I paid for the conditions I saw, but I either got bad luck or was assigned the worst room, and the elevator didn’t reach that floor. The lower floors looked completely different in terms of paint and doors. If you’re going to book rooms on the fourth floor, at least put accurate photos and describe the conditions.
