The staff were incredibly friendly, so even as a first‑time solo traveler, first guest‑house, and first visit to Oki Island, I felt completely at ease. I chatted with other guests and it felt like returning home, making for a fun night. They even guided me right out of the property to watch the perfect starry sky together. Every part of my stay was a wonderful memory, and I’ll definitely want to stay again. Thank you.

The old‑fashioned charm and spotless cleaning gave me a nostalgic, calm vibe. The owner was kind and gave solid travel tips, making sightseeing smooth. The sink was small and a bit awkward to use.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making the place feel like home. If you want to be in town, the guesthouse is a bit of a drive away, so plan for that. Aside from the distance, it’s a good spot to stay.

Very cosy and friendly guesthouse with helpful staff. It was super convenient for exploring the north of the island, especially Shirashima Coast. Remember the island has limited public transport and few shops or restaurants, so bring your own transport if you don’t. The next day I took a local bus, visited Mizuwakasu Shrine, and had a great lunch at Kokage café next to the Goka Sosei-kan Museum.
