Hostel&Bar CAMOSIBA

We enjoyed the ambiance and atmosphere. Wonderful to stay in such an old traditional building. The breakfast was top. Facilities were good too. One must be quiet in the private rooms because the walls are very thin. Nothing else to complain about :) I suppose the bikes that were for rent were not so good. This can be improved

Great Bar, easy stay. A guesthouse for international guests should provide better coffee, especially 500Y extra for bad coffee on the breakfast is unfortunate

The guest house is attached to a bar, and the staff were attentive and helpful. The bar’s breakfast and dinner dishes were excellent, all made with local ingredients. The house had the usual amenities: spacious, comfortable beds, a shared living/eating area, clean toilets and bathrooms, and a laundry room with an outdoor drying space that was very handy. The only drawback is that the hostel is very close to the station, but that station only has a local train and is about half an hour from Omagari, the nearest station that serves the shinkansen. If you’re traveling by train only, it’s not the most convenient.

The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed, making it easy for guests to chat with each other. The attached izakaya was affordable and very comfortable.
