I landed in Da Nang and found a cute spot that had everything I needed right off the bat; the lockers were secure, the bed was comfy, and the breakfast tasted great. The shower room felt very cramped, even for me, but I’d read about that before. The location works well if you’re sightseeing or heading to a flight, but if you’re after the beach or nightlife you’ll end up biking a lot.

I stayed in a room with a great location and the staff were really nice. I appreciated the free breakfast that included coffee, toast, and eggs, and the roof smoking area gave me a fantastic city view. The bed was comfortable, though a little noisy. I liked having a mini fan, a plug, and a small basket in the room, plus space under the bed and a locker for valuables, and each room even had a small balcony. Overall, the night was worth it. The bathroom was clean, the shower was good except the head didn’t stick to the wall so I had to hold it by hand, which was fine.

The hostel is close to the river, but the rules they enforce are a bit annoying.

The place is in a decent spot with shops and restaurants nearby, and you can park a scooter. The room came with big lockers. On my last day I discovered a bedbug in my bed; I’d already seen bloodstains and black spots on the mattress and pillows and thought they were old. While I was taking a photo of the dirty bed frame for this review, the bug walked onto my bed. The owner didn’t want to wash my clothes right then, told me to wait until tomorrow and that it would be done between 8 and 14. I didn’t care that I had to check out and leave for my next accommodation. In the end I was given 60k to wash it myself, even though it cost 100k to do it at a self‑service place. As I mentioned, the bed frames, etc., were very dirty. The floors and toilets get cleaned daily, which is good, but the less “normal” areas are insanely dirty—like the bed frames, massive dust buildup on fans and lamps, and the lockers.
