The property sits on a charming shopping street, was impeccably clean, roomy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The café/bar on the first floor was a nice touch; I didn’t order anything, but it looked great and both the host and other guests were very friendly. I’ll definitely return when I’m in Kobe again.

“Suitable for all type of travelers !!”

I really liked the Japanese‑style room with a wooden sliding door, and the bed was a large, very comfortable size. The only downside was that cooking wasn’t allowed.

The host is extremely helpful, explaining the layout and rules clearly and even carrying our suitcase up for us. The room is simple but clean, the bathrooms and toilet are also very clean, and basic toiletries are provided. Because it’s in an arcade, it’s within walking distance of shops and restaurants that are open morning and night. The other guests were really quiet and respectful. If you’re a light sleeper, you might want to bring a sleep mask, as the windows have shoji screens instead of drapes and one window lets in a lot of light at night.

The Japanese‑style room was clean, the futon was comfortable, and I was able to relax. The anticipation before heading to the room felt a little dampened. The rest of the place seemed dark, and the floor color was a shade that made dirt stand out, so I didn’t feel a sense of cleanliness.

The owner was exceptionally patient with me despite my limited Japanese. The location was good and the price wasn’t very high. As long as you’re fine with a hostel‑type setting, there isn’t a better place I’ve been to in Kobe.
