The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean, and the location was good and quiet. The shared toilets were a drawback; the bathroom was shared, but I thought the toilets would be separate. Luckily there are very few rooms, so we managed.

The place was fine overall, just old and on the first night the door lock jammed so we couldn’t open it until the manager showed us a trick; the room had no natural light, only a small interior window and we had to rely on artificial lighting all the time.

We really appreciated Alex’s help; the room was always spotless and the sheets were replaced without issue when my wife’s period stained them, so we enjoyed the stay thanks to Alex’s extra effort; the TV was broken with no channels, but free Wi‑Fi kept us entertained.
