The quiet spot with parking and good food and service in the restaurant were nice, but the room felt a bit dated yet still clean and adequate; a 15‑minute walk into Chambéry uphill for the return could bother some.

I’m sorry for the late review, but if you’re on a road trip and need a well‑deserved break, this is the spot; it sits on the outskirts yet feels remote and peaceful, privately run with a personal touch, the owners were polite and accommodating, the in‑house restaurant offered good value for above‑average quality, and I highly recommend it for its overall experience and tranquility.
