This is a lovely, beautifully decorated hotel with friendly staff and a tasty breakfast on a lovely roof terrace. Even though you can walk everywhere from the hotel, it’s a bit of a walk and it isn’t right in the centre.

The location and staff were good, but accessing the roof top was difficult because of private parties.

I liked the size of the room, but the extra bed was a sofa with a tiny mattress, and the back of the sofa was dirty, covered in what looked like nasal mucus. It was quite off-putting, so we removed the mattress and my son slept on the floor instead. We stayed on the second floor and the bathroom smelled like sewage; one day we had to open the windows because it was that bad. My mother and cousin were on different floors and didn’t experience this.
