Breakfast was good; I ordered the night before and they delivered it to the room. The bungalow rooms are spread across the property, giving a more private, secluded feel. They have several different room types, and I’d like to see what each looks and feels like. The location is a little farther from downtown Norman, but it’s still easy to travel back and forth. I didn’t mind the distance because it’s close to where my family lives on that side of Norman. There’s a restaurant on site, but it only opens Tuesday through Saturday for dinner. It’s a higher‑end dining place with a pricier menu. The food and service were excellent, but you need to book ahead. You should allow at least an hour or more to enjoy the meal. The room itself was old and outdated, needing some tender, loving care. There were broken tiles in the bathroom, and the blinds in our room didn’t work—couldn’t raise, lower, or open them for more light. The bed was uncomfortable, very soft. The driveway up to the site has many potholes, so driving on it requires caution.

This place is a hidden gem in Norman. I’ve stayed here over four times. The room I stay in is quite comfortable and located in the main building. The rooms come with more towels and amenities than you need and are well kept. The grounds are vast and quiet. I don’t get breakfast often, but when I do, it’s on point and satisfying. There’s a coffee machine and tea available for guests, and a fridge and microwave in each room. I haven’t tried their on‑site restaurant, but there is a fully equipped bar and kitchen if you need it.
