I found the place quiet and clean, with breakfast included and reasonable prices. However, it looked like an old motel; cigarette burns on the carpet in a non‑smoking hotel suggest the carpet is really old, and the bathroom cabinet feels from another era. I booked the first night for 13‑14 October, then on the morning of 12 October I added a second booking for 12‑13 October. When I arrived I told reception I had two separate reservations and wanted to avoid checking out on the 13th and coming back on the 14th in the same room. They extended my 12 October stay to two nights and said they would cancel the 13‑14 October reservation. I had to pay about 18 $ more. It was around 20:30 and we were tired, so I agreed even though I regret the extra cost. It also benefited the hotel because the room, sheets, and towels would have been changed daily if we had switched rooms. I hope the cancellation was indeed processed as mentioned!
