The room is spacious and the bed is cozy, and the staff are welcoming. The location is terrible; I chose it because it said it was in the center, but it isn’t. Since everything in Cusco involves a lot of uphill/mountain, the ideal spot would be truly central and flatter. The shower takes a long time to heat at night, and on the first day it wasn’t hot. Light leaks into the room because the curtains aren’t sufficient. Breakfast is very limited (two loaves, scrambled egg, orange juice, and coffee) served when you sit at the table, with no fruit or repeat options. The internet doesn’t work in the rooms, and the TV also doesn’t work because of the internet. If you plan to do the tours that pick you up from the hotel it’s worth it; otherwise it’s not a good choice.

“Mala experiencia en cuzco”

The shower was clogged, the heating was static and didn’t work, and the sheets had hair and dirt. Apparently only one person works each shift, making it hard to get in touch. They didn’t give shampoo or conditioner, and the advertising claimed it was in the center of Cusco, which wasn’t true. I had to stay because I had already paid and it was difficult to change due to tour logistics.

“It was ok but basic - long way up the hill”

It was fairly quiet except for a nearby dog every night – but welcome, Cusco! They should give you the door pass code right away; I had to keep ringing the bell and get various elders from the family to come to the door. Only when I asked if I had to always ring the bell and disturb someone to get in did they give me the code. Nonsense! The floors above mine were unfinished and completely exposed to the elements, so your door is basically open to the outdoors, making it a bit chilly. Luckily I was alone and could use covers from other beds. Breakfast was basic at best with no options.

Everything was perfect! They were so attentive that when we left before breakfast they prepared a super complete coffee for us to take away. The location is great, the shower is hot, Wi‑Fi is good, the bed is good, and it’s well covered… we loved everything.

The owner is friendly. It’s a bit far from the center.
