The room offered great privacy, but the restaurant was closed during the week.

The location is great for exploring nearby châteaux, the village is quiet with a nearby boulangerie and eateries, but the cleaning staff ignored the “do not disturb” sign as expected by international hotel protocol, and I’m not a fan of the separate toilet and bathroom for hygiene reasons, especially since many guys in some European countries don’t wash their hands after using the toilets (yucks).

The location was very good and the dinner was excellent.

The food was the best we had in two weeks in France; the staff and owner were brilliant, and the room was comfortable and clean. We could not stay longer.
