The hotel sits right in front of the Tsereteli Palace, which we only found on Google Maps, but we got it right. Reception was friendly and hassle‑free. Unfortunately, there was no elevator to our room on the second floor. The building is a bit old, yet the room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was served buffet‑style in the Palace, offering several hot and cold dishes and a coffee machine, a rarity in Georgia. We booked with a parking space, which is highly recommended; the underground spot was assigned easily, though you might have to park again later, but everything was relaxed. The walkable surroundings have everything you need to see. The street in front of the hotel is heavily trafficked and the noise is unavoidable. City traffic is chaotic, so patience and nerves are required. The stairwell walls could use a fresh coat of paint.

The staff treated guests with extreme rudeness and disrespect. The reservation was paid in advance, yet a week into the stay they demanded payment again—apparently they didn't mark it as paid, so they considered it unpaid. Trying to sort it out with their own staff? No, why bother! It's better to insult guests and demand money. The entire long trip across the country was ruined by this last hotel, or rather by its staff.

The location is great, but I booked the large suite with balcony and got a completely different, smaller room because they claimed a mistake and said I couldn't get that type of room for the price I paid, so I think they're scammers. I've been with Booking for nearly 15 years and this is the first time I received a room I didn't reserve. Also, the bathroom smell was unbearable—like a sewer.

The location is superb; everything is within walking distance. Balcony, bedroom, and living room—very convenient, the kid slept on the sofa while we used the bedroom. Staff were friendly. The room was a bit worn, but that didn't bother us at all.
