“A perfect escape for nature lovers seeking solitude and adventure — but not for everyone.”
I spent four nights here looking for peace and a break from my everyday life as a software developer. The spectacular balcony views, especially at sunset, were unforgettable. I spent three full days kayaking through mangroves, caves, and limestone cliffs, even discovering 3,000‑year‑old cave paintings visible from the water (kayak rental: 200–300 THB/day). The village is very touristy during the day but transforms into a peaceful, authentic community after the tourist boats leave. A truly unique experience, perfect for nature, solitude, and exploration. The accommodation is very basic, with no hot water, although the air conditioning works well. Breakfast was limited, probably because I was the only guest during the low season. Getting here requires a 30‑minute boat ride costing 1,500 THB each way. The price is relatively high for the facilities, but you’re paying for the unique location and experience.
