This hotel was a real gem. We had a very special stay at the Sun Aaeriko. The mountain setting is unique, the rooms are very stylish and the food is incredibly delicious. Breakfast even offered fantastic egg dishes, a lovely touch. We also dined at the Petra restaurant several times; it was the best food we had during our entire trip to Greece. During a severe storm the ferries weren’t running and it was unclear when they would resume; throughout this uncertainty the whole hotel team were friendly and understanding. We stayed an extra night without problems and could delay our check‑out. We were grateful for the fantastic support and will definitely return. 100% recommended.

I stayed here for the second time; my first visit was last September and I fell in love instantly. Returning this year, I was welcomed back like an old friend and felt even more at home than last year. The restaurant amazed me last year and got even better. The chef prepares wonderful food; dinner should not be missed. Let them recommend a wine to pair with your food, it’s the best way to go. The next morning, a delicious breakfast feast awaited. The staff is very attentive and ensures you have everything you need. You’re taken care of in the best way possible. The rooms have everything you need, are beautifully furnished, and the bed is big and comfortable. The views are wonderful. Even though it’s only a 5 minute car ride from the harbour, you feel tucked away on the island, surrounded by beautiful landscape—a view you never tire of. Like last year, I felt an immense sense of calm and already look forward to going back again.
