The room was spotless, the beds and pillows were comfy, and the AC cooled nicely after the recent renovation, but from the moment we entered, a strong mildew/musty odor filled the space; over our two nights we woke up congested, coughing, and with post‑nasal drip, as if the room had suffered water damage or the AC water pan was leaking—its source was unclear.

It was affordable and clean, with huge, comfy beds and plenty of restaurants nearby; a great budget spot if you plan a day at The Guadalupe River, but the free breakfast was subpar.
