The staff were excellent, the food was wonderful with great portions and quality, and the continental breakfast was very nice too; we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its great value, though the location is urban, which is what we expected.

The location is a plus.

The pub was lovely, the staff very friendly, the bed comfortable, the room clean and nicely presented, and the food great, though the room was very small—fine for an overnight but not ideal for a longer stay.

The staff were brilliant, the continental breakfast was everything you could wish for, but the bed was too soft for me.

It was a nice old style apartment, the breakfast was good. For a small city like Derby and short notice that we had it was a good choice. There was no slippers in the room, I suggest that if they can put 2-3 hotel style slippers in the room it will be much better
