“Günstig und trotzdem gut”

Breakfast was great at the nearby side hotel, and I liked that I could leave my luggage there until the evening; it’s perfect for train travellers because it’s directly opposite the station. The bathroom is tiny, but for the price and a single night it’s fine.

The central location and interior design are great, but there’s no elevator, the entrance is through the restaurant with people sitting around, and parking is scarce.

The hotel’s location is solid, and although it’s an older building that feels a bit worn, the rooms stay clean and cozy. It does what it promises: good value if you just need a quiet, safe spot with a private bathroom. It’s near cafés, restaurants, the train station, and the bus station. On the downside, there’s no tea or coffee maker and no mini‑fridge in the room, which is a typical European omission unless you’re in a self‑contained apartment.

The location is acceptable and the price is low, but there was no parking even though it was advertised as included, and we had an outside temperature of 6 °C with the heating not working.
