Located in Truckee, Hyatt Vacation Club at Northstar Lodge offers ski-in/ski-out access to Northstar resort. Two to three-bedroom villas feature granite counters, full kitchens with bar stools, fireplaces, and glass-enclosed showers. Amenities include a heated outdoor pool, poolside hot tub, sauna, and fitness center. Kings Beach is a 10-minute drive, and Reno-Tahoe International Airport is 45 minutes away.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, and spacious, but there weren't many food options.

The location, walking path, and area activities were great, but when I tried to make reservations or call the front desk with questions, they never mentioned how empty and almost nothing open in Village, and they should have offered better info and a lower price during that time. Also, the two‑bedroom fire‑place in both masters had an issue and I had to call maintenance, plus the fan light in one master was faulty. The couch was a bit old and not comfortable.
