I had an amazing time in the medieval village; it felt like we were the stars of a fairy tale. The rooms were charming, true to their historic roots and very comfortable. The vibe was immersive and made me feel relaxed. We liked how organized the place was and how kind and caring the staff were. The cherry on top was the breakfast, the best I’ve ever had, packed with local products made with creativity and finesse. The style here is truly unique.

The hotel really makes you feel like you’ve stepped back 500 years. Its location is ideal for day trips or hiking. The small town offers plenty of cafés and restaurants. Nothing to dislike here… If you expect a modern hotel feel, you’ll be disappointed – that’s not what this place is.

Right in the heart of the medieval mountain village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio, you’re transported back centuries. The historic buildings were restored with incredible attention to detail, preserving their original character. Old stone walls, subdued lighting, authentic furnishings, and a crackling fireplace create a special atmosphere. In the off‑season, when almost no tourists roam and the streets feel almost empty, this place reveals its own magic. We loved strolling through the village, enjoying the quiet, and lighting the fireplace at night. The whole concept is extraordinary and incomparable to any classic hotel. If you’re after modern luxury and perfection, this might not be for you. If you value history, authenticity, and unique experiences, you’ll be thrilled. For us, this stay was the highlight of our Italian trip – a soulful place we’ll never forget. 10/10 – a time‑travel adventure you must try at least once! ❤️
