The location is great, the suite is comfortable, and the facilities are solid; breakfast was delicious and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing negative.

Tamarix Suites is a fantastic hotel with good facilities, clean and well maintained rooms, and staff who are always busy cleaning and tidying to keep everything presentable. Breakfast was plentiful and very nice. The sun‑beds and pool area are clean, the water is clear, and there’s a nice indoor pool and spa. The location is great—central Kamari but still very quiet. The rooms are tidy, well maintained, and comfortable for a family. The staff are a credit to the hotel, always smiling and friendly, and they couldn’t be more helpful, from arranging a takeaway from a local restaurant to booking a private tour. They were great with our toddler, who was always happy to see them and they made him smile every day! The only negative is that the outdoor pool isn’t heated, so during the off‑season (when we travelled) it was a bit too cold at times, but the indoor pool more than makes up for it.

Located at the base of Ancient Thira, it’s the perfect spot for morning exercise. Surrounded by restaurants and cafés and close to Kamari Beach, it has everything you need. A bus stop nearby lets you explore the rest of the island when you’re ready. There’s nothing to dislike about this property.

The staff were friendly, the breakfast was very good, the rooms were clean, the location was good, and it was quiet. The bathroom was not functional—the shower rail was broken—and the spa and gym were basic.
