The location is very central, but communication with the room contact before arrival was poor, and on arrival it seemed somewhat disorganized, unsure if we had paid or not, and the bathroom had a bad smell; it looked charming in photos but was less so in person.

The reception by Marco was very friendly and welcoming, the place was safe for our bikes, and the city itself was unforgettable and beautiful; however, the fridge didn’t work, the air‑conditioner made a lot of noise, and there were no window screens.

The central low‑rise building offers a view of the towers and is quiet, though it’s a bit echoey and you could hear other people talking, but at night it was calm.

The apartment was excellent; we were lucky because the photos don’t do it justice. It sits right in the heart of the old town but on a quiet side, giving it a very authentic feel. The house itself is ancient, but the apartment is very comfortable and has everything you need. The owner was very nice and responded quickly before check‑in, and the apartment was spotless. We can’t wait to return.
