“Great stay, thank you!”

A great base for my 5‑night stay in Giza/Cairo. It’s just steps from the Sphinx gate, letting me enter right at opening and avoid crowds (you can see the Sphinx and the burial chamber inside the Great Pyramid all to yourself if you time it right). The nearest patio to the Sphinx is very private, without bright lights or loud music like other places. Food was good and the cook can accommodate your schedule. Uber is cheap to anywhere, like the Grand Egyptian Museum which isn’t far, but I’d suggest hiring a car for a day when visiting Saqqara, Dashur, or Memphis, which is definitely worth it; the owner Adel is ready to help if needed. Wi‑Fi is good if you need it for planning. Don’t miss the sunsets.

The spot is spot-on, with the Pyramids right in front of the hotel, giving the best view I've ever seen, and the staff are super welcoming while the owner is friendly and helpful.

From the rooftop you get direct views, the Sphynx entry gate is close and only a few steps from the ticket office (even though we booked online). You can spot people walking up the hill toward the pyramids shortly after 7am and the hop‑on hop‑off bus starting its route after 8am, making it a great photo spot. A large bottle of cold water is available for purchase to fill a thermos on a hot day, and the family owners are friendly. The stairs might be difficult for someone with mobility issues, but they help with luggage. Wi‑Fi works on the rooftop, yet it can drop downstairs near the entrance; my eSIM failed, so I had to rely on their Wi‑Fi to book an Uber.

“Best for the view of the Pyramids”

The pyramid ticket booth is 1 minute away and the pyramids entrance is 2 minutes away; the view of the pyramids is insane! Breakfast was really good with Egyptian bread and tomatoes, and Mona Lisa was nice and made sure I was fine, thanks to Google Translate. The street around the hotel smells like animals, and the shower pressure is low; the owner said he would fix it but never did.
