“Ga hier niet heen!”

The garden was beautiful. During my stay a pool and bar were being built; from early morning until evening I heard drilling and other construction noise. I came to relax, but that didn’t happen. The staff were unfriendly and didn’t even greet me. At checkout the owner demanded 3,000 roepie more than the price I had checked beforehand; when I pointed it out he dismissed it as a mistake, with no apology or friendly response. The sheets were filthy with stuck-on food crumbs and large stains. I won’t return.

“My short stay was comfortable and pleasant.”

The garden setting was nice and the river view from the restaurant was good. We could see activities on the river and spotted a rhino crossing from the hotel to the forest at 6 am during breakfast. The hotel is still expanding its facilities, and the pool was under construction while we were there.

The location was great, the staff were helpful, and the safari was well organized, but the bedding was a bit lackluster.

It was so peaceful, and a rhino even appeared at sunset in the afternoon; I adored the cottage in the garden, though the bed was uncomfortable and a few items in the room didn’t work, yet I still loved the space and the view.

The staff were friendly, the management efficient and amiable, the facilities were good, the location was convenient, and the rooms were satisfactory.
