Can Rovira, Stunning Neoclassical Mansion near Barcelona

The beds were super comfy, the house and surroundings were spotless, the separate spaces were great, the pool was nice, and the BBQ worked well. The only downside was the lack of lighting on the terrace for evenings, and the appliances were a bit old.

“In so einer tollen Atmosphäre hab ich noch nicht gewohnt”

This is truly a beautiful, large house set among vineyards, with a look straight out of Gladiator or similar medieval films – an aesthetic I’ve never seen in a holiday rental. Everything was well maintained and in excellent condition. On sunny days the pool and big terrace are a delight. The locals were very friendly, helpful yet discreet. A truly great stay.

“Excellent”

We had an amazing time with friends in this huge, cozy building that comfortably fit everyone. The discreet caretaker who lives on site was a pleasant surprise. It’s close to the village, a 10‑minute drive to the beach, and 30 minutes from Barcelona’s center – perfect location! We’d love to stay there again.

“Fijne locatie, ruim huis. jammer van de communicatie”

The place offered plenty of space, was clean, and had several outdoor areas. The village was within walking distance, and bus/train links to Barcelona were nearby. All the amenities were available in the house. The main issue was the lack of a clear point of contact, making communication difficult. We couldn’t play table tennis because the net was missing, even though we asked for it. The gardener lived in the house, which we didn’t know about, but he did his job with integrity.

We spent a few days at Can Rovira with family and friends, celebrating my wife’s 10th anniversary. The house and area were simply unbelievable – a dream come true. We wish we could go back right now.
