The hotel was fantastic, with a nice pool and a tasty jacuzzi. The location was truly great. We did experience a small leak because of heavy rain and thunderstorms, but the staff immediately moved us to a different bungalow. Food wasn’t included, but it was very good and not expensive. The only thing I can think of is that there isn’t much English‑speaking staff, though they are super helpful and manage to get things done with Google Translate.

Everything was great, except for the staff who didn’t know a word of English. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve had on my trip to Guatemala. The shower had hot water and a good flow. Towels and sheets were clean. The water slides into the lake were a hit with the kids. The pool had warm water and a pleasant jacuzzi.

What a fantastic spot—both the restaurant and the hotel were flawless, the service was immaculate and the staff very professional. The hotel itself was amazing, super comfortable, with a great pool, and we’d definitely recommend it. We arrived with our two kids, who had a blast on the slides! We loved everything.

The location blew us away; we stayed in a bungalow right on the river with a balcony and hammocks, and the view was stunning. The pool area was excellent and we used it both days. The restaurant’s food hit the spot. We especially want to thank the staff: they helped arrange a public boat for us at booking time, and again on departure to get us from Livingston back to Rio Dulce, and everything worked perfectly each time. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and our Rio Dulce excursion felt special thanks to this place—we wouldn’t miss it. Thank you!
