The property is close to the train station, and the larger shops are just a few minutes on foot. There’s plenty of space for luggage and personal items, and the kitchen is quite well equipped. The beds could be softer, and the kitchen pans need replacing because the Teflon layer is damaged, which is very harmful to the body. The kitchen tap lacks hot water, which is a bit inconvenient, and the room doors squeak terribly. There are very few city buses in this town.

The facility is clean, there’s parking, and the rates are cheap. It would be nice to have a shelf for luggage in the bed space, the door to the bed space is loud, slippers should not be stacked, it’s unclear how far you’re barefoot before the shower room, and the label for used sheets could be larger.

There’s plenty of space in the common areas and the staff are friendly and kind. Nothing else to note.

Walking from Fuji Station is convenient. On clear days you can see Mt. Fuji from the roof. The staff were pleasant. A toilet right next to the women‑only room was handy, and the shared washroom area was plentiful and not crowded. The dining area feels empty and may not suit those looking for interaction. It would be nice if the women’s shower entrance had a lock.

The staff were very nice, gave good tips for outings, and I liked the dorm. I don’t find the city generally pretty and felt the hostel was quite remote, since most things happen around Shin Fuji Station, which is a half‑hour away.
