The room was clean and comfortable. I liked having a small area to sit and the refrigerator was a plus. This felt like a secure location. We did ask for and receive 2 extra pillows. The remote didn’t work for the TV, so I took it to the front desk and changed it out. The next one, the volume couldn’t be adjusted. I gave up. The telephone to phone the front desk was disconnected from the wall and there was no cord at all

The room was smoke‑free but still carried cigarette smoke and had cigarette‑burn holes in the furniture. The pool was unusable because the water wasn’t maintained, and the outside area had unfinished trash‑can work; the brand‑new facility was clearly neglected. I paid for pool access, and while it wasn’t broken, it was clearly not kept clean.

This was the best hotel experience I’ve had in Topeka; I felt safe and well taken care of, which is reassuring for a single woman traveling for work. Breakfast was decent, but I’d have liked a few more options. I had to switch rooms because my original one had a broken shower, but I was grateful another room was ready.

The room was spacious and clean, and breakfast offered a good variety. The lobby restroom includes free female pads, tampons, and a vending machine. The only downside is that there’s no microwave in the room.

The staff were very friendly, and the room was awesome. I have no complaints.
