Located 100 metres from Cavour Metro and a 10-minute walk from the Coliseum, the Monti Palace Hotel is a design hotel featuring a modern restaurant and bar. The location was super central, making airport transfers and city exploration a breeze, and the staff always wore huge smiles while the breakfast was tasty and varied. On the downside, the elevator could use a renovation and the room felt humid; it was a bit too noisy because the fourth‑floor room sat under the terrace/restaurant.

The reception staff were welcoming and prepared, and the terrace was nice. However, the rooms were very noisy despite the new windows, and the noise was so loud that I had to use earplugs to sleep.

It’s a bit pricey, but perhaps it would be better if it were a little cheaper.
