The breakfast buffet had a wide variety, and I could order an omelette on demand; the restaurant was good, the garden was beautiful and well kept, the huge pool was perfect for swimming and relaxing, the staff were attentive, and the view was stunning. The rooms, however, could use a little refresh.

The garden could be better maintained; the price was too high for the classification, as we were told it was a 4* but it turned out to be only 3* and many services were missing.

The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful, but everything else was terrible—no wonder this hotel is still listed. The place needs a major renovation; it’s not suitable for guests. I was upset and emotional because I didn’t want to stay. They offered me different rooms, but all were bad. Everything was old and smelled awful. Luckily I could cancel my reservation at no cost. After seeing several rooms and the restaurant, I booked another hotel and left.

The staff were kind, very polite, doing what they could with limited resources. The building was old, there was no phone in the room to reach reception, a TV was present but just for show and not connected, and there was a cockroach in the room. At the same time the price was really low; for a stopover hotel that might be acceptable, otherwise you should upgrade. We cut the stay short, 2 nights instead of 4.

The hotel had no hot water, and for an entire day there was literally no water at all.
