“Recommend for a short stay on a budget in one of the best locations in Kolkata for traveling”
I stayed for 10 nights to experience Durga Puja and it was very affordable, especially during the festival, in one of Kolkata’s best neighborhoods. The streets are walkable, and during Durga Puja it was easy to reach different areas. You can walk to some of the city’s top restaurants and cafés. The caretakers are lovely people; anyone who complains should consider staying at a 5‑star place to understand those expectations. Cleaning happened every three days even though I didn’t request it. I was charged an extra 1000 rupees at check‑in as a “service fee,” but I saw no mention of that on the booking page. The nearest metro is about a 25‑minute walk, though you can always order an Uber or Rapido. The Wi‑Fi could be better.
