The location was ideal for exploring the historic part of the city. The room was spacious, clean, and the room service was good. Unfortunately, we were assigned a ground‑floor room with windows facing a construction site, so we couldn’t open the windows and it was noisy. One day, the workers piled the excavated soil right next to our windows, making it look as if we were in a tomb.

The location was fantastic, just steps from Tiananmen Square and the metro stop, and right next to Qianmen’s pedestrian area with many shops and restaurants. Our room was on the ground floor, so it was impossible to pull the curtains without being seen by everyone on the street. Prices were high, justified only by the location.

The location was decent, the room was clean, and slippers, tea/coffee, and water were provided. The room had no window, which is shocking; there was no mention of this in the room description. I couldn’t turn off all the lights from the bed, a strip stayed in the hallway and the lamp on the plant remained on. I had to go to the entrance and switch off the main switch. The next day, they brought breakfast to the room, which wasn’t very tasty, and the coffee spilled.
