The only thing that threw us off was the bathroom – the door only covers the toilet, leaving the shower completely open, which wasn’t mentioned in the listing.

The beds were decent, but the flat turned into a sauna – there was no air‑conditioning or fan, and when we asked the owner for a fan he never replied, only later blamed us for supposedly leaving the front door open. The shower area had no door, so anyone walking by could see right in, the windows and tracks were filthy, and the tiny fridge was practically useless.

The neighbourhood and the building’s exterior were fine, but the room itself was a nightmare – spiders everywhere, a greasy film on the radiator, a musty smell, webs covering surfaces and wallpaper peeling at the corners. The listing never said the room is actually in the basement and the photos were clearly outdated; everything looked far worse in person.

Overall the stay was pleasant, but the air‑conditioner in the room didn’t work – luckily I didn’t miss it much – and the coffee station ran low on sachets, especially the sugar packets.

The place is okay, but lugging baggage up the narrow stairs was a hassle, and the room got uncomfortably hot with no fan or air‑conditioning. Opening the windows helped with the heat but sacrificed privacy, and street noise could be loud late at night.
