The hotel is pretty good and very practical, with a very friendly staff. The food is excellent, beautifully presented, and tasty. On the downside, the rooms are missing some details that would bring them in line with the rest of the hotel. The bathroom in our room opened onto the hallway, and from outside you could hear our conversation. There is no elevator, and the stairways to the upper floors feel a bit odd. The value for money feels a bit high for me.

Our stay at the Orient Hotel in Bandarawella was truly exceptional. The breathtaking views, attentive staff, and recently renovated rooms in excellent condition made our experience unforgettable. The hotel's commitment to maintaining high standards truly enhanced our overall satisfaction. It was a fantastic stay that exceeded our expectations

The hotel wasn’t cleaned well and looked old and dirty. The online pictures don’t reflect the actual place. The rooms and location differed from what I imagined. The area was noisy and busy, and the price was too high for the facilities provided. The staff were not friendly.

The hotel employs a lot of people. They gave me a mobile charger. What they do very well is charging for the room as soon as you arrive, otherwise you would leave within 2 minutes of arrival. The quality‑price ratio is the worst in all of Sri Lanka. The photos must have been retouched or from another hotel. The buffet dinner, which I was told was a BBQ dinner, was bad. I had half‑board and they charged for water. Breakfast was also poor. The restaurant lounge was terrible. There was nothing outside. The room was extremely noisy. The extra bed was extremely uncomfortable.
