Friendly staff and a complimentary upgrade for my partner’s birthday—decorations arrived on time and were set up in the room. The water pressure was terrible, the hotel looked very old‑fashioned, and breakfast didn’t impress.

The hotel was very quiet, exactly what we wanted, and the staff were all helpful and friendly. The spa, however, could use some updating.

It was our diamond wedding anniversary and they upgraded our room which was very nice.We had lunch on arrival then dinner for 4 of us in the evening. Followed by a delicious breakfast the next morning which was repeated the following morning.I enjoyed a swim all 3 days which was an excellent indoor pool. I didnt venture to the outdoor pool. Truthfully there was nothing we didnt like. A perfect stay. The final bill had ommited the two massages we had but of course we told them and then paid

The location was ideal for a visit to Monkey World the next morning and easy to find. We enjoyed a two‑course dinner in a well‑arranged dining room and a lovely breakfast in a bright, airy room; the breakfast staff were super efficient. Paintings of coastal scenes on the walls made guessing fun. Though we didn’t use the spa or pool due to time, it’s reassuring to know they’re available for future stays, and the reception staff were wonderfully helpful. For the price, the room was small and its decor tired; everything was scaled down, including a tiny TV that wouldn’t sit horizontally, only one bedside table (I used a chair), a small bed, and uncomfortable pillows, mattress, and quilt. The bathroom vent didn’t work, and the powerful shower was noisy.
