“Nice stay, get what it says on the tin hotel”

The room was brand‑new, clean, roomy, and offered a pleasant estuary view; breakfast was excellent and the staff on duty were friendly and clear about the setup. On arrival there was no one at reception, so I had to wait, and I received no information on breakfast times in the room, which I had forgotten to ask about and had to guess in the morning (50‑50 our fault). The room’s supplies were minimal, so I ran out of coffee after two cups, and the bar staff seemed a bit “cold”.

The location was good, the room was a nice size with a hot shower, and there was plenty of parking; the only downside was the pillows.

The main part of the hotel was lovely, the lodges were very outdated and didn’t look like the picture
