We absolutely adored our stay here. From the instant we arrived, it felt like stepping back into an era of proper hospitality, with genuine care, quality, and charm. The property exudes a beautiful, timeless character that makes you feel right at home. The views are amazing, and the location offers the best of both worlds: close enough to restaurants and everything you need, yet secluded enough to feel completely detached from everyday bustle. The bed and bedding were out of this world – we slept deeply, with no noise or light disturbances, and honestly could have stayed snuggled up all day. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay. Book at least a couple of nights because once you're there, you won't want to leave. Loved every bit!
Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Even on a drizzly day, you can see the Shotover river and mountains right there. The decor and amenities in the room were really pretty and just thoughtful. Nothing really

The location is convenient, about a 10–15 minute drive from central Queenstown, with easy parking right outside the room. The host was very friendly, responsive and helpful. The view over the gorge is absolutely beautiful. I especially recommend the breakfast. It’s NZD 30 per person, generous and absolutely worth it. The room was a little cold in the morning as the central heating wasn't on during our stay, although the electric blanket kept the bed warm. There was also a slightly musty smell in the bathroom. Otherwise, everything was great
