Coming in shoulder season is the best, the staff is very nice to assign different rooms to everyone so I got a room to myself for 2 nights. The view is incredible and many little details like hooks and hanging rods and shelves ans power socket/light for each bed, with a huge locker. There is even a desk to work from. Place is clean, decent continental breakfast. Staff was super friendly, i left behind a little pouch and she found it and kept for me. Beds are quite creaky. The water is not very hot. I could imagine that 2 showers and toilets for 4 rooms is a little tight if it's full. For me it was more than enough since there were only a few guests

“This is a convenient place to stay in Cogne when hiking the Alta Via 2.”

It was pretty basic, but this is expected from a hostel. It is not very conveniently located, requiring a 15 minute walk uphill from the center of Cogne (and this is a very small place). The staff was helpful and the breakfast was decent. It was very convenient that we got a room of 4 for just the 2 of us. There was nothing in particular, but the place really had the feeling of a basic hostel
