The 4-star Market Pavilion Hotel in Downtown Charleston is a 3-minute walk from Charleston City Market and Waterfront Park. It features a rooftop pool with a mosaic bottom, free WiFi, and 2 on-site restaurants: Grill 225 steakhouse and Pavilion Bar. Guest rooms include flat-screen TVs, desks, and sitting areas, with Italian marble baths and some suites offering concierge parlour access.

I strongly suggest staying at the Market Pavilion Hotel when you’re in Charleston; it has a great location, superb service, and an amazing property.

The bed was comfortable, there was coffee and pastry service twice a day, the location was amazing, and the rooftop pool and bar were a nice spot to unwind after a long day of city touring. It was a bit on the expensive side.

The room was comfortable, the breakfast on the floor was lovely, and it’s close to fantastic restaurants; upgrading to a balcony was a good choice.
