The diving and accommodation were good, the room was clean and spacious, and it was right next to the stand. However, Juara is far from the Ketek ferry pier, and when I returned to Mersing by ferry I discovered that people were boarding in Juara, something I wasn’t aware of.

The Juara Beach is, in our view, the most beautiful beach and the spot is absolutely top. Right next to the lodge sits the best restaurant (we all ate there for every meal because it was so good—prices around 10‑15 CHF per meal for two). The lodge staff are super friendly and we felt very comfortable 😊. The only thing to know is that there is no room service and no towels, so you must bring your own; for us that was perfectly fine :)

It was very clean, the spot was fantastic—directly on the beach—and the people there were super friendly, accommodating, and warm. Highly recommend, including the diving.

Right on the beach, stunning terrace view, extremely nice staff, dive and snorkel tours can be booked hassle‑free, everything in the little town is quickly reachable on foot. Great for some truly relaxed days.
