Agriturismo Biologico Poggiopiano, located 8 km from Florence city centre, offers a serene hillside stay with an outdoor pool. The rustic-chic rooms feature private entrances, original stone details, and vaulted brick ceilings. Guests enjoy free WiFi, organic wines, and extra virgin olive oil. A common garden with BBQ facilities and public transport links to Florence are nearby, with Siena a 1-hour drive away.

Everything was wonderful, relaxing, and delicious. The staff were lovely and kind. The property is absolutely beautiful, and you can walk down to town easily and catch a bus into Florence if you like. I will definitely return.

The breakfast was the best on our Tuscany trip. The room was very nice and the staff friendly. It’s 10 km to Florence. Lots of nature and a beautiful pool. Parking on site.

Very warm and pleasant atmosphere, clean and comfortable. The only downside is that you need to wear hats in the pool 😉, which are normally given.

The hotel sits in a fantastic spot with a great atmosphere, tasty breakfast, and friendly staff. It would have been better if there were dining options inside the hotel at night, but the walk to the restaurants was a bit steep and the road was quite wet.

Breakfast was decent but worth the price, and I’d strongly recommend it. A short stroll takes you to the train stop for the Duomo or the main station for under three euros. You also get a choice of seating because it’s the first stop heading into Florence.
