Being only a ten‑minute walk from the bus terminal was incredibly convenient, and the market was just around the corner so finding food was never an issue. I asked for a two‑bedroom for my friend and me, and the team replied promptly and gave us exactly what we requested. The hot‑water shower had excellent temperature and pressure, and they even held onto my luggage after checkout, which was a big help. Unfortunately, the hallway lights never turned on, so I had to use a flashlight to find my room after dark. While the locked entrance at night felt secure, after dinner I rang the intercom and no one answered for about five minutes, leaving me waiting outside—a bit unsettling when the place is quiet.

“Cucarachas”

I liked the location because it’s close to the square. There was almost nothing else: there were cockroaches, the room was almost never cleaned, and when they did it, they only made the bed, didn’t change the sheets, even though we stayed a week. The bathrooms smelled bad and they never cleaned the bathroom during our stay. On the other hand, we had booked a week but only stayed two days, and they asked us to modify the dates on Booking, but the app didn’t allow it, so we stayed the rest of the days and they charged us the regular rate, not the rate that was listed on Booking. They said they had canceled through Booking, but the app shows that didn’t happen, so we ended up paying much more than expected. The only redeeming factor was the large kitchen with many supplies, but I still saw cockroaches. Service was regular, people didn’t smile, and they had trouble greeting.

They don’t accept card payments or $100 bills. The receptionist is apathetic and doesn’t give tourist information.
