The accommodation was the cheapest option in Eisenerz at the time, so I gave it a fairly high rating. Parking was impossible, even though the website claimed it was available; a sign pointed to the courtyard where we were then escorted. Breakfast was listed on Booking and other sites, yet none was served because all staff were supposedly in Romania for a wedding—no explanation was given, and the restaurant was also closed for the same reason, which wasn’t mentioned anywhere online. The bathroom had no water, the room was cold, the beds sagged, and there were no curtains. The only Romanian staff member spoke very limited English. The whole experience was bizarre; I’m not sure why I still gave it 6/10. The entire center of Eisenerz was deserted, and on Saturday no restaurant was operating.
