No bargain, but the location was sensational and the boat was great. Everything was as promised and it was genuinely fun. It wasn’t mentioned that the boat was right next to a restaurant hosting a party until the night, which was a bit of an adjustment.
A nearly new houseboat moored right in front of the castle, providing a beautiful and unique experience. Communication was a bit lacking – there was no proper introduction or even a folder available.

The location offered a dream‑like view!
The view of Schwerin Castle was nice. On the first evening everything was fine, with light house music from the outside bar of PIER7 in the background. But on Saturday night there was continuous blasting from 17:00 to 23:00, which we weren’t told about beforehand and we hadn’t rented a “party boat”! We called the rental hotline, but received no callback, and the owner didn’t reach out until 17.12.23 22:06, even after a direct call to his mobile. We were hoping for a relaxed weekend at the Schwerin Christmas market, but left very frustrated. Nothing else about the houseboat or its proximity to the city was wrong, but the rest went off track. We had to call the police twice to finally stop the loud music, and afterward there was no real quiet; the houseboat was even littered with random items! We also had to give the Schwerin police a bad review, even though they responded quickly after our call. Why do your colleagues refer to the houseboat at the dock behind the “Disco” at PIER7 as “you feel harassed”? Sorry, we just wanted a calm weekend and it’s a shame the owner still hasn’t personally reached out about the above issues, despite the contact details.
