I stayed near Tam Thanh Temple and the Mạc House, which was convenient, but the neighbor was renovating and it was a bit noisy.

The place was quiet, but the front desk demanded an extra fee I refused, so they didn't book my room and handed me a double instead. The owner bragged that the price was cheap, which was absurd. They wouldn't accept the booking price, so why even list the place on a booking platform? The rate is shown in foreign currency and then converted to Vietnamese dong, and the owner wants me to pay both amounts together – that’s just mindboggling. If you won’t accept the booking price, don’t list it on a booking platform! I’ll make sure everyone knows about this. Definitely not recommended!
